Job summary

Citi is seeking a Treasury Operations Assistant Manager to oversee technology projects across the system development lifecycle in coordination with Markets. The role focuses on researching and implementing sustainable tech solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs, while maintaining rigorous risk and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include processing treasury transactions, collaborating with vendors and operations teams, and driving client adoption with strong communication

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Treasury Operations Units.
• Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies.
• Demonstrated comprehension of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• English is a must.

Responsibilities

• Process daily FX, Money Market, derivatives and securities transactions, provide analytic input for traders and aid in review of derivative products.
• Research, identify and recommend technology capabilities that enable the reduction of client inquiries and manual touch points
• Research current treasury and client operational trends and suggest solutions
• Work in partnership with vendors, technology, and client operations teams to prototype innovative solutions
• Propose and implement solutions that will increase operating efficiency and lead to an improved client experience
• Assist efforts to help drive high rates of client adoption
• Ensure requirements are clearly stated and that business and client needs are met throughout development
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
