Job summary

Turkcell seeks a Senior Technical Architect to lead end-to-end architecture design and delivery for large-scale IT infrastructures. You will craft high-level and low-level designs, drive RFP/RFQ processes, and align engineering with business goals.

You will engage with Tier-1 technology partners, optimize architectures for performance, security, and resilience, and mentor teams across Turkcell DBS. Excellent communication in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure, architecture, or pre-sales.
• Experience delivering complex infra for large enterprises or MSPs.
• Ability to translate IT architectures into business language for C-level.
• Strong negotiation and cross-team coordination skills.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design and document complete technical architectures (HLD/LLD) for enterprise infra.
• Lead strategy and execution for RFP/RFQ/RFI and Tender processes.
• Perform architecture health checks and modernization workshops for enterprises.
• Bridge Turkcell DBS with Tier-1 partners and drive alignment.
• Maintain knowledge of vendor sizing frameworks and BOM optimization.

What we expect ?

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related technical discipline from reputable universities.
• 7+ years of solid experience in enterprise-scale IT infrastructure with a proven track record in Enterprise Solution Architecture, Systems Engineering or Technical Pre-Sales roles.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering complex, mission-critical infrastructure projects for large enterprises or managed service providers.
• Deep understanding of client business dynamics and priorities with the ability to articulate how IT solutions drive competitive advantage, efficiency and business goals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical architectures into strategic business language for C-level executives.
• Strong negotiation and alignment skills to lead vision and strategy, coordinating seamlessly across internal teams, external partners, suppliers, product managers and enterprise customers.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented team player with a "can-do" attitude, problem-solving mindset, strategic thinking skills and a passion for emerging infrastructure trends.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

What Does the Technical Architect Role Do at Turkcell?

• Deep architectural knowledge of x86 Systems (High-Density Rack, Blade, Composable Infrastructure), HPC clusters and GPU-accelerated infrastructure tailored for AI/ML workloads.
• Mastery of Tier-1 Enterprise Storage Architectures (All-Flash, NVMe-oF, Hybrid, NAS, SAN, Object) and SAN Fabric designs (Fibre Channel, RoCE, iSCSI).
• Comprehensive expertise in Software-Defined Datacenter (SDDC), Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) (e.g., VMware vSAN, Nutanix AOS), enterprise hypervisors and multi-tenant cloud orchestration layers.
• Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Data Protection frameworks, including modern Backup & Recovery, Replication, Disaster Recovery (DR) Orchestration and Cyber-Resilient/Immutable storage designs.
• Native proficiency in vendor-agnostic and vendor-specific sizing frameworks, partner portals and sizing tools to build, validate and commercially optimize precise Configurations and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Design, document and deliver complete technical architectures, including network/system topologies, HLDs and detailed LLDs for complex enterprise infrastructure projects.
• Lead technical strategy and execution for complex RFP, RFQ, RFI and Tender processes, ensuring compliance, technical superiority and architectural alignment.
• Conduct architectural health checks, modernization assessments and transformation workshops for enterprise customers to identify bottlenecks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Act as the ultimate technical authority and bridge between Turkcell DBS and global Tier-1 technology partners, driving architectural alignments and engineering updates.
• Expert-level industry certifications (Flagship Infrastructure Architect credentials from Tier-1 vendors) are highly desirable.
