About this Position
In this position, you will takeownership of supply planning activities within the IMEA region, includingplanning responsibility for Henkel’s manufacturing site in South Africa. Youwill work closely with the factory to align weekly and monthly plans, monitorcapacity and raw material constraints, and proactively address potentialbottlenecks. Previous experience working closely with factory planningoperations will be key to succeeding in this role.
What you´ll do
- Responsible for weekly supplyplanning of Finished Goods (FG) materials. Creates planned orders as wellas STOs between plants.
- Checks daily production quantities and follows upon open process orders, if any preponement needed, communicates withproduction and RPM team to take prompt actions to avoid stock out.
- Communicating with variouspeople/functions across the country (production, quality, RPM planners,PD, CS, S&S, logistics and sales teams).
- Leads daily and weeklymeetings and follows up production plans and priorities, RPM shortage& AF options, rework trend, blocked stock status, bin availability andinvestments etc.
- Leads S&OE meetings to ensurenecessary actions are in place.
- Ensures that the FG portfolio issupplied in the most cost-effective way, kept at target service andinventory levels.
- Escalates availability anddelivery issues to FG MEA Planning Manager, especially if shortage couldbe an issue for customer line stop.
- Ensures the KPIs are aligned withthe targets (Write-off, Slow Mover, DOS, Customer Service Level) andportfolio is supplied in the most cost-effective way, kept at targetservice and inventory levels and prepares weekly and monthly reports aboutthose KPIs
- Maintains material master data andplanning parameters; defines safety stock norms, reduces slow- andnon-moving products in IMEA.
What makes you a good fit
- University degree in IndustrialEngineering or related departments
- Minimum 4years of experience in supply planning, ideally inFMCG and/or Chemical sector
- Advanced user of MSOffice applications, SAP know-howis desirable
- Experiencein supply planning within a manufacturing/plant environment is preferred.
