Job summary

DFDS A/S in Turkey seeks a Purchaser to drive efficient procurement processes within the PtP/GP teams. You will coordinate with Group Procurement, accounting, and local stakeholders to ensure process compliance and scalable spend management.

You will manage POs, resolve daily queries, and act as a trusted business partner for the Local Business Unit, improving PO alignment and cross-team cooperation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in procurement or finance.
• Good understanding of procurement and accounting processes and systems.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Strong English skills - both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of/experience in D365 is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Process daily purchase orders and manage order changes using D365.
• Control open POs and ensure PO items match invoices in the accounting system.
• Resolve standard and non-standard queries related to procurement processes.
• Act as trusted partner and first contact for Local Business Unit and DFDS Turkey.
• Analyze tail spend to shift spend to POs where possible.
• Support migration projects and create new processes with control.
