Job summary

Zurich Insurance is seeking an experienced budgeting and financial planning professional to lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. The role partners with senior management to provide insights for strategic decisions and ensures timely statutory reporting in a fast-paced insurance environment.

The candidate will coordinate annual budgets, analyze variances, and drive accurate monthly management reporting across local and group levels, while maintaining strong internal controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting and budgeting processes.
• Experience in the insurance industry and knowledge of IFRS 15 and IFRS 17 are considered a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in budgeting, financial planning, performance reporting, and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Results-oriented, self-motivated, and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reporting processes.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, forecasts, and management reports.
• Support senior management with financial analyses and business insights to facilitate decision-making.
• Coordinate annual budgeting processes and monitor budget performance throughout the year.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of group and statutory reporting requirements.
• Prepare monthly performance reports and financial presentations for local and group management.
• Coordinate month-end closing activities and review financial statements and performance results.
• Monitor variances between actual, budgeted, and forecasted figures, and communicate key findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, group reporting standards, and internal control processes.
• Support ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting requests from management and group stakeholders.
• Ensure the effective and accurate flow of financial information across the organization.
