Job summary

Pernod Ricard in İstanbul is seeking a Senior Legal and Compliance Executive (Outsource) to ensure corporate compliance across domains and mitigate legal risks. You will support strategic goals and report to the Legal Director.

The role focuses on competition law, data privacy, IP, and employment law, coordinating with external law firms when needed. Excellent English skills and multinational experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Equivalent legal qualification required.
• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in corporate law, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Fluent/Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal guidance in competition law.
• Identify and assess competition regulations applicable to business activities.
• Deliver actionable advice to mitigate legal risks associated with commercial activities.
• Foster a culture of compliance and understanding of competition laws across the organization.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including supplier, service, and partnership agreements.
• Assist with dispute resolution and litigation management.
• Manage and enhance compliance systems and frameworks.
• Establish and monitor compliance management frameworks to uphold industry standards.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to corporate policies and regulations.
• Implement corrective measures to enhance compliance and organizational integrity.
• Support corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters.
• Support internal policies, compliance programs, and training.
• Develop and advise on comprehensive compliance strategies.
• Create and implement policies ensuring adherence to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Perform risk assessments and internal audits to identify areas for improvement.
• Communicate complex legal information effectively to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks related to company operations.
• Monitor changes in legislation and advise the company accordingly.
• Manage and coordinate external law firms when necessary.
• Advise on data privacy and intellectual property matters.
