Job summary

ZTE Corporation seeks an experienced Server Solution Manager to drive server business development across Europe, coordinating with sales, product management, and partners to identify opportunities and deliver competitive solutions.

You will design compute/storage/virtualization solutions, prepare proposals and BoMs, support PoCs, and train internal and partner teams. The role requires strong technical and communication skills in a multicultural, cross‑functional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of server architecture, hardware platforms, and networking.
• Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies (VMware, OpenShift, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Hyper‑V).
• Experience with telecom operators and enterprise customers is a strong advantage.
• Experience in preparing technical proposals, solution design, and tender responses.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and promote server solutions for telecom operators and enterprise customers.
• Engage with customers to understand IT infrastructure requirements and provide technical consulting and solution presentations.
• Design competitive server solutions, including compute, storage, virtualization solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, BoM, sizing, and solution documentation for bidding activities.
• Work with product management, R&D, and sales to deliver customer‑oriented solutions and resolve issues.
• Conduct market analysis and monitor trends, technologies, and competitor strategies.
• Maintain technical relationships with customers, system integrators, and partners.
• Support PoC, solution validation, interoperability testing, and customer acceptance activities.
• Provide technical training and enablement to internal sales teams and partners.
• Support project delivery and post‑sales technical activities when required.

We are looking for an experienced Server Solution Manager to drive server business development and provide technical solution support across the European market. The successful candidate will work closely with sales teams, customers, product management, and partners to identify business opportunities, develop competitive solutions, and support project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and promote server solutions for telecom operators, and enterprise customers
• Engage with customers to understand their IT infrastructure requirements and provide professional technical consulting and solution presentations.
• Design competitive server solutions, including compute, storage, virtualization solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, BoM, sizing, and solution documentation to support bidding activities.
• Work closely with product management, R&D, and sales teams to deliver customer-oriented solutions and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct competitive analysis and monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies.
• Build and maintain strong technical relationships with customers, system integrators, and ecosystem partners.
• Support Proof of Concept (PoC), solution validation, interoperability testing, and customer acceptance activities.
• Provide technical training and enablement to internal sales teams and partners.
• Support project delivery and post-sales technical activities when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of x86 server architecture, CPU, memory, storage, networking, and hardware platforms.
• Good understanding of virtualization and cloud technologies such as VMware, OpenShift, Kubernetes, OpenStack, or Hyper‑V.
• Familiarity with AI infrastructure, GPU servers, high-performance computing (HPC), or large‑scale data center solutions is a strong advantage.
• Experience with telecom operators, enterprise customers
• Experience in preparing technical proposals, solution design, and tender responses.
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and enterprise storage solutions.
• Understanding of enterprise applications such as Oracle, SAP, databases, and middleware.
• Familiarity with Red Hat, VMware, NVIDIA, Intel, or AMD ecosystems.
• Ability to work independently in a multicultural and cross‑functional environment.
