Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 2+ years in enterprise system and software support with focus on Java log analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation in production.
• Hands-on Linux/Unix environments knowledge, including Unix commands and bash scripting.
• Experience in Linux/Unix operating systems for system and application support.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of estimating levels of effort and managing projects through to completion.
• Excellent organizational, supervisory, communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to travel and spend periods at various sites.
• Experience communicating with external customers and 3rd party vendors.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to approach problems from different perspectives.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience in a 24-7 production environment.
• Experience communicating with 3rd party vendors.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Kron solutions deployed to telecom operators and large enterprise customers to solve customer problems related to different products.
• Create and maintain a high standard of operational excellence in global systems support.
• Oversee the effectiveness and success of all system support services.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and training plans for resource administration and proper usage.
• Provide guidance and technical expertise on issues encountered within the systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with local and global customers and vendors.
