Job summary

AItoolnavio is seeking a Staff AI Engineer based in Turkey to lead the design, development, and delivery of major AI initiatives. You will build production-ready AI systems, guide architectural decisions, and collaborate across Product, Design, QA, Operations, and engineering to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading complex AI initiatives as a hands-on contributor.
• Proven track record deploying production-grade LLM apps and AI agents used by customers.
• Strong ability to influence architectural decisions, set engineering standards, and drive initiatives from proposal to delivery.
• Experience building AI evaluation frameworks with automated testing, agent traces, human feedback, and production monitoring.
• Understanding of AI agent architecture, tool design, and orchestration; know when deterministic logic beats LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of major AI initiatives, including AI-powered assistants and generative AI features.
• Contribute to production AI systems from day one, improving architecture and workflows.
• Drive improvements in AI quality, reliability, and performance with measurable enhancements.
• Own major AI projects from architecture to deployment and optimization.
• Define architectural decisions across teams for AI and shared platform infrastructure.
• Establish scalable AI quality frameworks with automated evaluations and monitoring.
• Design reliable AI agents and tool integrations balancing deterministic logic and LLMs.
• Advance engineering practices like code reviews and robust technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, Operations, and engineering stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence.
