Job summary

Etiya is expanding its AI practice and seeks a skilled AI/ML Engineer to develop and optimize LLM-based solutions. You will train, fine-tune and deploy models, focusing on NLP tasks and Retrieval-Augmented Generation across international projects.

The role emphasizes scalable coding, collaboration, and ongoing learning in a dynamic, cloud-enabled environment. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, AI or related field.
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering principles.
• Proficient in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with NLP, LLMs and Generative AI models.
• Knowledge of retrieval systems and information retrieval.
• Familiarity with design patterns and OOP.
• Experience with Git or similar VCS.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, scalable code following software engineering principles.
• Develop modular systems with proper design patterns.
• Train, fine-tune and optimise LLMs for various tasks.
• Build applications using LLMs for text generation, translation and QA.
• Design and implement RAG systems for LLMs.
• Enable LLMs to retrieve and use external information sources.
• Analyze performance and improve model accuracy and efficiency.
• Keep up with latest generative AI developments.

QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
• Good command of software engineering principles.
• Strong knowledge and experience in object oriented programming (OOP).
• Knowledge of common software design patterns.
• Strong programming skills in Python and related libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
• Knowledge and experience with LLMs (GPT, BERT, LaMDA, Mixtral, Qwen, etc.).
• Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Knowledge of Generative AI models and algorithms (e.g., Transformer models, GANs).
• Experience in information retrieval and retrieval systems.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, etc.).
• Problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Open to learning and development.
• Good command of English.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Writing high quality, efficient and scalable code, in accordance with software engineering principles.
• Develop modular, maintainable and extensible systems using appropriate software design patterns.
• Working on training, fine-tuning and optimisation of LLMs.
• Develop applications using LLMs in areas such as text generation, translation, question-answering, dialogue systems.
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for LLMs.
• Develop mechanisms for accessing and retrieving information from information sources (databases, APIs, web).
• Enabling LLMs to interact with external information sources to produce more accurate and reliable outputs.
• Performance analysis and optimisation, improving model accuracy and efficiency.
• Conducting research and following the latest developments in the field of generative AI.
• To work in co-operation with team members and share knowledge.
