Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance is required.
• 3 years post-related experience if higher vocational training, or 5 years post-related with secondary education.
• 3 years of practical experience across all configuration management disciplines.
• Strong technical understanding and experience with IT Service Management tools like BMC Remedy ITSM Suite v9.1+.
• Good understanding of databases (MS SQL, Oracle).
• Experience with ITIL change and configuration management best practices.
• ITIL Foundation Certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Undertakes basic risk management activities.
• Maintains documentation of risks, threats, vulnerabilities and mitigation actions.
• Applies standard data modelling and design techniques based on requirements.
• Establishes, modifies and maintains data structures and components.
• Communicates data structures and components details to others.
• Applies tools and processes to track, log and correct information related to configuration items.
• Verifies and approves changes ensuring protection of assets from unauthorized change.
• Ensures users comply with identification standards for object types, environments, processes, life cycles, documentation, versions, formats, baselines, releases and templates.
• Performs audits to check data accuracy and undertake corrective action under direction.
• Monitors and logs service level performance against SLAs.
• Develops, documents and implements changes; applies change control procedures.
• Applies tools and processes to manage and report on change requests.
• Produces reports and analysis to support asset management activities.
