Job summary

Aramco invites an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to join the Yanbu Refinery Department. The role focuses on the safe, reliable operation of critical rotating equipment and the development of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.

The successful candidate will lead root-cause analysis, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with API standards and Aramco practices while driving continuous improvement across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an approved program.
• 8+ years in rotating equipment maintenance in oil & gas or petrochemicals.
• Experience with centrifugal and reciprocating compressors.
• Knowledge of API 610, API 617, API 692, API 691.
• Strong fault diagnosis and RCA/FMEA skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across rotating equipment lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot compressor performance and failures.
• Lead maintenance strategy improvements and upgrades.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with Aramco and international codes.
• Use diagnostics tools to monitor equipment condition.
