Job summary

Aramco is seeking an experienced Corrosion Engineer to join the Global Manufacturing Excellence organization. The role focuses on providing technical support for corrosion management across Saudi Aramco’s downstream assets, deploying new technologies and prioritizing value-adding programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
• 15 years of corrosion management, metallurgical sciences, and welding in downstream oil and gas.
• Knowledge of API, ASME, NACE, ASTM standards with corrosion/inspection focus.
• NACE certification or API-571/NACE CP II preferable.
• Fluency in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Conduct corrosion management assessments and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Develop and manage the GME strategic value-driven programs roadmap.
• Deploy corrosion management technologies across the Global Manufacturing portfolio.
• Support RBI studies based on API-580 and publish lessons learned from RCAs.
• Provide consultancy to facilities during design, construction, operations and maintenance.
