The role covers laboratory testing, supplier and subcontractor quality management, audits, and CAPA programs, with collaboration across departments to achieve top quality for global brands.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in product development, quality assurance, and quality management within the apparel industry.
• Minimum 5 years of team management experience.
• Advanced level of English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with international customers and manage customer audit and quality evaluation processes.
• Advanced knowledge of production quality processes, customer-specific quality standards, AQL standards, and final inspection procedures.
• Strong technical knowledge of patterns, measurements, fabrics, accessories, printing, embroidery, and packaging processes.
• Strong knowledge and experience in laboratory testing, quality testing requirements, and evaluation of test results.
• Proven experience in supplier and subcontract manufacturer quality management.
• Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies such as RCA, 8D, and CAPA methodologies.
• Strong command of MS Office, particularly Excel; ERP experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and data analysis skills.
• Excellent leadership, team management, communication, and coordination skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel and conduct on-site quality audits at supplier and subcontract manufacturer locations when required.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment and successfully manage multiple quality processes simultaneously.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage the overall quality assurance function.
• Ensure that sample development, technical approval, production quality control, and final inspection processes are carried out in accordance with customer requirements and company quality standards.
• Manage and continuously improve all quality processes from product development through final shipment.
• Oversee laboratory testing processes, ensuring tests are planned, conducted, and evaluated per requirements and standards.
• Review laboratory test results, identify quality risks, implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and implement projects aimed at improving quality performance and monitor results.
• Ensure printing, embroidery, accessories, labeling, and packaging meet standards.
• Audit and monitor supplier and subcontract manufacturer quality compliance.
• Lead root cause analysis of quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate cross-department efforts on critical issues and resolution processes.
• Evaluate supplier quality performance and follow up on action plans.
• Represent the company during customer audits, meetings, and quality evaluations.
• Analyze customer complaints and ensure effective CAPA actions.
• Maintain quality records and documentation for traceability.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare quality reports to drive improvements.
