Job summary

COM Digital is seeking a Senior Python Developer to own the design, development, and optimization of scalable backend services in Turkey. You will shape architecture, improve performance, and uphold engineering standards across our codebase.

Responsibilities include building Python-based RESTful APIs, optimizing MongoDB, containerizing with Docker, and integrating with internal and external systems. Strong English reading skills and experience with CI/CD are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Python backend development.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong RESTful API design, OOP and SOLID principles.
• MongoDB data modeling, indexing, and query optimization.
• Docker, Git and CI/CD experience.
• Unit and integration testing, logging, and debugging.
• Ability to read technical documentation in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to backend architecture and build high-performance services.
• Optimize MongoDB data models, queries, indexing and performance.
• Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker.
• Build reliable integrations with third-party services and internal systems.
• Promote code quality through tests, reviews, and clean code practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide long-term solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and drive improvements.
