Job summary

Hill International, a global firm, seeks a proactive Project Controls Specialist in Turkey to support planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting across multiple projects. You will prepare and update schedules, dashboards, and management reports while monitoring progress against baselines and budgets.

The role requires strong English and Turkish, experience with large-scale construction projects, and proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project is a plus.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong written and spoken English skills; 10 years of relevant experience in project controls, planning, cost control, reporting, or technical office functions.
• Experience in large-scale building, infrastructure, industrial, or similar construction projects.
• Experience in preparation of proposals funded by international financing institutions is a must.
• Ability to read, understand, and analyze technical documents, contracts, specifications, schedules, and reports in English.
• Hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, progress measurement, cost control, and reporting processes.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with baseline schedules, progress updates, cash flow, budget, earned value, delay analysis, and project reporting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting activities.
• Prepare, review, and update project schedules, progress reports, dashboards, and management reports.
• Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and budget.
• Assist in delay analysis, extension of time assessments, variation/change records, and claims-related documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Review project data from site teams for accuracy and timely reporting.
• Support tender and proposal preparation processes when required.
• Prepare technical and management-level reports, presentations, and correspondence in English and Turkish.
• Provide project controls support to ongoing and prospective projects from the head office.
