Job summary

TikTak seeks a Senior Product Designer to join its rapidly growing team in Istanbul. You will own the end-to-end design process for mobile-first products, from discovery through launch, shaping product needs with cross-functional teams.

You will craft flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI, and help evolve the TikTak Design System. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years' digital design experience, strong UX and visual skills, and the ability to drive product thinking while collaborating with Product,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in digital product design with strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills for mobile-first products.
• Proven ability to own a product or area from discovery to delivery.
• Strong product thinking, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, components, variants, auto layout, and prototyping.
• Experience with design systems and component-based design.
• Ability to integrate AI into the product design workflow and leverage AI tools.

• Define problems using user needs, goals, data, and tech requirements; simplify complex journeys.
• Explore opportunities, develop proposals, and support decisions with research and data.
• Collaborate with Product, Software, Data, Growth, and CX teams to shape priorities.

• Follow design-through-release with the Software team and ensure design quality in live product.
• Contribute to TikTak Design System and ensure consistency across products.
• Participate in critiques and collaborative processes to elevate design culture.

Your playground as a Senior Product Designer at TikTak

• Own the end-to-end product design process — from discovery to launch — for the products and problem areas you are responsible for,
• Define problems by evaluating user needs, business goals, product data, and technical requirements together; transform complex user journeys into simple and scalable experiences,
• Proactively explore problem and opportunity areas in the user experience, develop solution proposals, and support design decisions with research, data, and insights,
• Work closely with Product, Software Development, Data, Growth, and Customer Experience (CX) teams to help shape product needs and priorities,
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI work; develop micro-interaction, transition, and motion approaches that strengthen the mobile experience,
• Follow the development process of designs together with the Software Development team, ensuring the intended experience and design quality are carried through to the live product,
• Contribute to the evolution of the TikTak Design System, design standards, and experience consistency across the product, together with the design team,
• Actively participate in design critiques, idea sharing, and collaborative production processes to support the growth of the design culture and product quality.

• Preferably 5+ years of experience in digital product design, with strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills in mobile-first products,
• Proven experience independently owning a product or problem area from discovery to delivery,
• Strong product thinking and problem-solving skills; an approach that questions problems, spots opportunities, and strikes the right balance between user needs, business goals, product data, and technical constraints,
• Advanced proficiency in Figma; mastery of components, variants, auto layout, and prototyping structures; experience creating interactive prototypes, micro-interactions, transitions, and motion scenarios,
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Design Systems and component-based design,
• Ability to effectively integrate AI into the product design workflow; leveraging AI-powered tools across research, insight synhesis, ideation, design exploration, and prototyping,
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams such as Product, Software Development, Data, Growth, and CX,
• Preferably experience in mobility, ride-hailing, car sharing, travel, logistics, marketplace, or location-based B2C products; familiarity with map, location, booking, payment, or real-time experiences,
• A proactive, curious, results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
