Job summary

Intertek seeks a highly skilled Piping/Structural Inspector to ensure compliance with project specifications and codes during fabrication, construction, and installation. You will inspect piping and structural work, identify non-conformities, and ensure corrective actions are implemented to maintain quality and safety.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, verifying materials and welding consumables, conducting dimensional and weld visual inspections, monitoring NDT,

Qualifications

• QA/QC mindset with focus on piping and structural standards.
• Ability to review drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and specs.
• Experience in identifying non-conformities and NCRs.
• Familiarity with NDT methods and inspection reporting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect piping and structural fabrication, erection, welding and installation.
• Review materials, consumables, and certifications to meet standards.
• Perform dimensional, fit-up, alignment and weld visual inspections.
• Monitor NDT activities and review reports.
• Witness hydrostatic/pneumatic and leak testing of piping systems.
• Maintain QA/QC procedures and generate inspection reports.
• Coordinate with teams and third-party inspectors to resolve issues.
• Ensure safety standards and proper documentation of inspections.
