Job summary

Oman Shell seeks a Senior Facilities Engineer to lead engineering activities for storage & handling assets, integrating asset management, asset integrity, process safety and project delivery to ensure safe, reliable operation.

The role requires a strong Electrical & Instrumentation background, 10+ years in Oil & Gas or industrial facilities, and proven capability to manage multidisciplinary teams and contractors across asset lifecycles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or another relevant Engineering discipline.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Terminal Operations, Petrochemical, Energy or Industrial Facilities.
Proven experience in terminal operations, storage and handling facilities, oil & gas, petrochemical or other industrial environments.
Strong Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineering background, critical for this role.
Knowledge of Asset Management Systems (AMS), Asset Integrity Management and reliability improvement programs.
Familiarity with HAZOP, LOPA, SIL and Management of Change (MOC) processes.
Familiarity with SAP and other engineering or maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

Lead execution, sustainment and continuous improvement of Asset Management System (AMS) across assigned terminals.
Ensure compliance with Group Standards, Technical Authority requirements and regulatory requirements.
Drive integrity and reliability improvements through inspection, maintenance and risk management strategies.
Identify and manage Safety Critical Equipment and barriers throughout their lifecycles to support reliability goals.
Provide engineering leadership for terminal operations, asset integrity, contractor management, reliability improvement and project delivery.
