Job summary

Uber is seeking a Senior Regional Operations Manager to assess, manage, and minimize fraud and marketplace risk across EMEA. This critical role spans multiple Lines of Business and partners with Risk teams, engineering, product, and data science to protect the Uber platform.

You will design risk frameworks, implement automation, and analyze fraud metrics with SQL or Python to reduce losses while preserving a high‑quality user experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL and at least one scripting language (Python or R).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• 5+ years in Risk, Online Retailers, startup, strategy, operations, analytics or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Reduce fraud and risk across the Uber system in EMEA.
• Develop and implement risk-mitigation processes and frameworks.
• Analyze databases using SQL or Python to detect fraud.
• Prioritize projects and set achievable timelines.
• Evaluate risk potential of new product features for rollout.
