Solvia Digital Solutions is seeking a Senior Dev-Ops Engineer for our Product Development team. You will design scalable infra on Azure and Kubernetes, implement CI/CD pipelines with Bitbucket Pipelines, and monitor systems using Prometheus and Grafana.

The role includes managing Nginx, API gateways, TLS certs, and secrets (Azure Key Vault, Kubernetes Secrets). You’ll support Spring Boot apps with small code/config changes and drive DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in a DevOps, software development, or systems administration role.
• Strong Linux knowledge incl. CLI and Bash scripting.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience, specifically Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Experience running workloads on Kubernetes and Azure virtual machines.
• Experience with MongoDB, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL (backup/restore, access, monitoring).
• Experience configuring Nginx and API gateways (TLS termination, load balancing).
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring, dashboards, alerts.
• TLS certificate management and secrets management using Azure Key Vault and Kubernetes Secrets.
• Spring Boot applications development/readiness and basic code/config changes for deployment/runtime issues.
• Understanding of DevSecOps, security checks in CI/CD, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and willingness to learn continuously.

Responsabilités

• Develop scalable infrastructure for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance on Azure and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with software developers, QA, and product management to optimize the development process.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines) for reliable releases.
• Monitor performance and availability with Prometheus and Grafana; resolve issues proactively.
• Manage Nginx and API gateway configurations, TLS certs, and secrets securely.
• Operate MongoDB, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL databases with backups and health checks.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of infrastructure resources with versioned configurations.
• Contribute to DevSecOps practices: embed security checks in CI/CD and support vulnerability management.
• Work with Spring Boot apps; read/debug/modify code for deployment/runtime issues.
• Keep exploring new tech to improve efficiency and security.
• Develop and maintain system architecture docs and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Now we are looking for Senior Dev-Ops Engineer in our Product Development team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in a DevOps, software development, or systems administration role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Linux, including command-line tools for daily operations, troubleshooting, and automation (Bash scripting).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Experience running and operating workloads on Kubernetes and Azure virtual machines.
• Experience operating databases: MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL (backup/restore, access management, monitoring, basic performance troubleshooting).
• Experience configuring and operating Nginx (reverse proxy, load balancing, TLS termination) and API gateways.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring, dashboards, and alerting.
• Experience with TLS certificate management (issuance, renewal, rotation) and secrets management using Azure Key Vault and Kubernetes Secrets.
• Prior experience developing applications with Spring Boot, and the ability to read, debug, and modify application code when needed (e.g., configuration, logging, health endpoints, small fixes).
• Genuine interest in DevSecOps and security operations (SecOps): secure CI/CD, secrets hygiene, system hardening, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry best practices.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Jenkins and Argo CD (GitOps-based delivery).
• Experience operating Java applications in production (JVM tuning, memory/thread troubleshooting).
• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Experience building and maintaining Docker container images.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement scalable, reliable infrastructure solutions for the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our software applications on Azure and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, quality assurance, and product management, to streamline and optimize the development process.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines) to ensure timely and reliable release management.
• Monitor system performance and availability using Prometheus and Grafana, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal service levels.
• Manage and maintain Nginx and API gateway configurations, TLS certificates, and secrets (Azure Key Vault, Kubernetes Secrets) securely across environments.
• Operate and maintain MongoDB, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL databases, including backup, access control, and health monitoring.
• Design and implement automated processes for the deployment, scaling, and management of infrastructure resources, keeping configurations consistent and version-controlled across environments.
• Contribute to DevSecOps and SecOps practices: integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines, support vulnerability management and system hardening, and take part in security incident response.
• Work with development teams on Spring Boot applications, and make small code or configuration changes when needed to resolve deployment and runtime issues.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and security.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
