Job summary

LC Waikiki's Digital Transformation and IT Department in Istanbul is seeking a Mid/Senior Data Scientist focused on optimization and Generative AI. You will lead end-to-end data science and operations research initiatives to enhance supply chain, workforce planning, and customer experience.

You will collaborate with business, logistics, planning, and technology teams, design predictive and optimization models, and apply LP, MIP, CP methods.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Science, OR-Tools, or optimization roles.
• Strong Python proficiency and SQL skills.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, and AI systems in production.
• Experience deploying analytics in production environments on cloud platforms.
• Ability to translate complex analytics into business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of optimization and AI-driven solutions.
• Drive end-to-end data science and operations research projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across logistics, planning, and technology.
• Mentor junior data scientists and foster knowledge sharing.
• Translate insights into actionable business recommendations for senior leadership.
