Job summary

Beko Corporate in İstanbul seeks an experienced privacy lawyer to lead cross‑team data privacy initiatives, draft opinions, and guide compliance with KVKK and GDPR.

You will implement TOMs, monitor global data protection laws, and assist the Global Data Protection Officer during audits and investigations.

The role requires a law degree, 7+ years in law practice, CIPPE/CIPPM a plus, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law
• 7+ years of legal practice in a top-tier firm or in-house
• Strong analytic and advisory skills for cross‑functional business matters
• Excellent English written and spoken communication

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to teams on data privacy projects and initiatives
• Conduct legal research and draft opinions on data privacy issues
• Support the Global Privacy and Data Protection Compliance Program
• Advise on privacy issues including KVKK and GDPR across jurisdictions
• Assist business units with understanding Technical and Organizational Measures (TOMs)
• Implement and update privacy procedures, best practices, and guidelines
• Monitor changes in global privacy laws and inform the business
• Assist the Global Data Protection Officer in audits, complaints and investigations
• Provide guidance on Records of Processing, DPIAs and Transfer Impact Assessments
