Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, BI or enterprise data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data services (ADF, Azure SQL, Synapse, ADLS Gen2).
• Strong Power BI expertise beyond dashboards, including semantic models and DAX.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, dimensional modelling and bronze/silver/gold patterns.
• Experience reverse-engineering complex, poorly documented data environments.
• Experience integrating data from multiple ERP/business systems and moving logic upstream.
• Good English communication and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assess and reverse-engineer the existing data and Power BI environment, including key data flows and dependencies.
• Stabilize reporting and data processes during the transition, addressing refresh and performance issues.
• Design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines moving transformation logic into upstream data layers.
• Create reusable dimensional models and bronze/silver/gold data structures for reporting.
• Integrate data across multiple ERP systems and standardize master data.
• Contribute to selecting and designing the target Azure data platform (ADF, Databricks, Fabric).
• Build and validate the initial end-to-end PoC and help define the rollout roadmap.
• Collaborate with the Solution Architect and client stakeholders while working independently.
