Job summary

Eti is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines, DW/ lakehouse architectures, and analytics-ready datasets. You will work with AI engineers and business units to deliver Power BI reports and semantic models on modern cloud platforms.

The role emphasizes end-to-end data solutions, data quality, and collaboration across technical and business stakeholders within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• 4–6+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or BI.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Cognos, SQL Server, SSIS/SSRS, ETL/ELT, DW, and data modelling.
• Good understanding of BI/reporting environments, preferably Power BI.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Fabric, ADF and Databricks.
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration.
• Design Data Warehouse and Data Lakehouse architectures and data models.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and stakeholders for analytics-ready datasets and dashboards.
• Contribute to evolving the cloud-based Data & Analytics platform using Fabric, ADF, Databricks.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines and quality, applying best practices.
• Translate business needs into maintainable data engineering solutions and contribute to technical design.

What is the Main Aim of This Position?

The position combines strong Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, Data Warehousing and Data Analytics capabilities with exposure to modern cloud data platforms. The role will be responsible for transforming complex business requirements and diverse data sources into reliable, scalable and analytics-ready data pipelines, reports and dashboards.

What We Expect from You?

• To design, develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration processes and data transformation solutions across enterprise data sources,
• To design and develop Data Warehouse, Data Lake/Lakehouse architectures and analytical data models, ensuring scalability, performance, reliability and data quality,
• To work closely with AI Engineers and business stakeholders to create AI- and analytics-ready datasets, data lakes and reporting solutions, including Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models,
• To contribute to the evolution of our modern cloud-based Data & Analytics platform, using technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks and/or equivalent platforms,
• To monitor, troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines and workloads, while establishing best practices in data modelling, ETL/ELT, performance and data quality, using tools such as Cognos and SQL Server,
• To translate business and analytical requirements into scalable and maintainable data engineering solutions and contribute to technical design and architectural decisions.

Why You?

• If you have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or another relevant Science/Engineering discipline,
• If you have 4–6+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing or related data-focused roles,
• If you have strong hands-on experience with SQL, Cognos, Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, BO/BW, ETL/ELT, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling and data integration,
• If you have a good understanding of BI, reporting and analytics environments, preferably Power BI, and can translate business requirements into practical data solutions,
• If you have experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks or equivalent platforms,
• If you have experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks or equivalent platforms,
• If you have a strong analytical mindset and can effectively bridge Data Engineering, BI and Business Analytics,
• If you can take end-to-end ownership, communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, and continuously learn and adopt modern Cloud, Data & AI technologies,
• If you have experience with Python, Data Governance, Data Quality, REST APIs or Lakehouse architectures, it will be considered a plus,
• If you have FMCG and/or manufacturing industry experience, it will be considered an advantage,
• If you have an excellent command of written and spoken English.
