Job summary

Softtech is seeking a Senior Cyber Incident Responder to join the Professional Services team in Turkey. You will drive SOC operations, investigate incidents, and lead response efforts across disciplines to minimize impact.

The role requires deep expertise in incident analysis, malware techniques, and security tooling, with emphasis on teamwork and rapid decision-making under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Cyber Incident Response or security operations.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge in detecting, analyzing and responding to security incidents.
• Proficiency with security tools and techniques (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, EPP, Sandbox).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and make quick decisions in emergencies.
• Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, GIAC, OSCP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Play an active role during all phases of SOC processes.
• Conduct technical investigations, assess incident impact, and minimize damage.
• Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with teams.
• Perform static and dynamic malware analysis in sandbox.
• Run tabletop exercises to test incident response plans.
• Disseminate knowledge and coach SOC Analysts.
• Update and improve incident response processes and policies.
• Provide recommendations for SIEM/SOAR use cases, reports and dashboards.
• Stay updated on threats and implement detection methods.
• Review security events to detect malicious behavior.
