Job summary

E Tech Group, a leading engineering and system integration firm, seeks a Senior Controls Engineer to design, deploy, test, and maintain control system projects across client facilities. You will collaborate with customers and project leaders, provide ongoing status updates, and contribute to system startups.

The role requires strong knowledge of control networks, instrumentation startup, and hands-on commissioning in live environments, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in the control system industry.
• Ability to work independently on projects and tasks with a very organized and methodical approach.
• Willingness to travel 30-50% (mostly local with remote support).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a team member supporting project execution from design through implementation.
• Develop/modify design documentation: drawings, SOPs, sequences, test scripts.
• Perform quality checks and bench testing of PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs.
• Provide onsite and remote support and commissioning system design changes.
• Coordinate with installation teams to monitor progress and QA/QC procedures.
• Travel as needed to participate in client facilities for design and startup.
