Job summary

Fintecia, a rapidly growing fintech, is seeking a Business Analyst to develop solutions for a next-generation core banking platform. The role emphasizes translating business needs into technical requirements and coordinating with IT teams.

This is a hybrid position based in Istanbul, with collaboration across product, design, and engineering teams. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in participation banking analytics, strong SQL/PLSQL, and experience with RESTful APIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in participation banking and analytics.
• Translate business needs to technical requirements for business and IT teams.
• Hands-on experience with Postman or SoapUI.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL skills.
• Understanding of SDLC and Jira.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
• Excellent executive communication skills.
• Experience with Agile Development (Scrum, Kanban).
• Fluency in English is a plus.
• Certified in Design Thinking, UX, and CX concepts (preferably).
• Certified as a Scrum Product Owner and/or a Scrum Master (preferably).

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in participation Banking experienced analyst with experience in domains such as credit, deposit and treasury
• Demonstrated experience in translating the business needs to technical requirements for Business, and IT teams as well as in implementing integration solutions
• Hands-on experience in Postman or SoapUI
• Hands-on experience in SQL and PL/SQL
• Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and SDLC tools such as Jira
• Understanding of RESTful API development with JSON
• Ability to handle multiple projects
• Hold self-responsible for team and individual tasks assigned
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with the team and collaborate with stakeholders
• Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to communicate and present to the senior leadership
• Experienced in Agile Development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban etc.)
• Fluency in English is plus
• Certified in Design Thinking Practices, UX, and CX concepts (preferably)
• Certified as a Scrum Product Owner and/or a Scrum Master (preferably)
