Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer (Python & TypeScript) based in Turkey. You will design and maintain backend integrations, build APIs, and ensure scalable, reliable system interoperability across services.

The role requires 10+ years of backend experience, strong Python/TypeScript skills, and familiarity with GraphQL, Hasura, PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms. Collaboration with a distributed U.S.-based team and a fully remote setup are expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Python and TypeScript.
• Proven experience building complex APIs and system integrations across multiple applications or platforms.
• Experience with GraphQL, Hasura, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
• Healthcare technology integrations experience (PMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex backend integrations using Python and TypeScript.
• Build robust APIs and integration services enabling reliable communication between applications.
• Architect and implement scalable solutions for integration requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services emphasizing reliability and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
• Contribute to architectural decisions involving APIs, data flows, and interoperability.
• Work with cloud environments and modern technologies as project needs.
• Maintain overlap with US-based team of 2–4 hours daily, ideally West Coast hours.
