Accenture Istanbul seeks a senior backend engineer to design, build, and operate scalable APIs and backend services. You will work on cloud-based solutions using modern Python stacks, contributing to distributed systems in a fast-paced, international project environment.

This role requires 5+ years in backend development with strong Python knowledge (FastAPI/Flask/Django), SQL, Docker, CI/CD, and collaboration with product and DevOps. Hybrid work and global teams are part of the day-to-day.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and operating backend systems.
• Strong hands-on in Python.
• Experience designing scalable, production-grade APIs and backend services.
• Knowledge of modern Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and data modeling.
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
• Distributed systems, performance optimization, and reliability.
• AI/LLM integrations familiarity is a plus.
• Experience with Java or C# is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
