Job summary

Logifuture Malta Limited is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our Gaming Hub team. You will focus on backend and API testing for player-facing services in an iGaming environment, designing and owning automated test solutions that ensure reliability and performance.

You will work with developers, SREs and product to triage issues, drive observability improvements and build scalable test suites. 5+ years of automation experience and Python/JS/TS proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong experience with automation frameworks and tools for backend/API testing.
• Proficient in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and end-to-end integration testing.
• Familiarity with containerised test environments and Kubernetes basics.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and automation in GitLab/Jenkins.
• Strong testing methodologies and CI gating knowledge.
• Knowledge of observability tools to validate staging/production.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for backend services and APIs.
• Identify and prioritise test cases for automation (smoke, regression, integration, contract, non-functional).
• Build and maintain automated API/contract tests for microservices.
• Develop and run performance, load, stress and stability tests.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and report outcomes to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, SREs and product to triage issues.
• Define test data and environment strategies.
• Participate in design refinements and product releases.
• Mentor QA peers to raise automation maturity.
