Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Turkey. You will design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, AWS cloud solutions, and infrastructure as code, driving automation and reliability in a large-scale enterprise environment.

You will collaborate across development, operations, and infrastructure, implement security best practices, and contribute to tooling improvements while supporting cloud and on-premises tasks. English proficiency required; salary paid in USD.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of AWS DevOps experience.
• CI/CD development with Git, GitLab CI/CD, and Jenkins.
• Terraform and CloudFormation expertise.
• Strong AWS security practices incl IAM roles and SGs.
• Scripting in Bash and Python; SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with Ansible, Puppet, and Rundeck.
• Linux/Unix proficiency.
• Excellent English communication (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
• Create AWS-based cloud solutions emphasizing automation and reliability.
• Lead infrastructure as code with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Automate workflows using Bash, Python, and other scripting languages.
• Implement source control and release workflows (Git, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment, monitoring, and reliability.
• Drive tooling improvements and platform upgrades.
• Maintain AWS security best practices and IAM controls.
• Support networking tasks across AWS and on-premises environments.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous DevOps improvements.
