Job summary

NTU International A/S seeks a Senior Non-Key Expert – Aviation Specialist to support technical, policy, and investment assignments in aviation worldwide. The role focuses on Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Asia and the Pacific, with start in January 2027 and a 48-month implementation period.

The expert will address airport planning, safety, sustainability, and regulatory reforms while coordinating with authorities, operators and partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in aeronautical/airport/civil/transport aviation management.
• 15+ years of professional experience in the aviation sector.
• 7+ years in planning, design, supervision or management of aviation infra.
• 5+ years in aviation projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America or Asia.
• Experience with the G20 Principles for Quality Infrastructure Investment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prepare and implement aviation infrastructure and air transport projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments and investment analyses.
• Support airport master planning, infrastructure development and air connectivity planning.
• Advise on airport infrastructure, airport systems, air transport services and operations.
• Promote sustainable and low-carbon aviation and energy efficiency.
• Coordinate with authorities, airport operators, airlines and IFIs.
• Ensure compliance with international and European standards and good practices.
• Integrate climate resilience, environmental and social considerations.
