Job summary

GÜRİŞ Technology A.Ş. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to advance AI systems for renewable energy applications. You will design, train, and deploy production-ready ML models, collaborating with software, robotics, and energy teams to deliver real-world impact.

The role focuses on predictive maintenance, fault detection, and optimization of energy assets, leveraging CV, time-series, and foundation models. Excellent English and cloud experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Software or related field.
• 5+ years of professional ML/DL/AI engineering experience.
• Advanced Python programming skills.
• Strong practical experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Experience deploying computer vision or time-series ML models.
• Understanding of DL architectures, model optimization, and statistical learning.
• Experience with ML deployment, Docker, REST APIs, and production inference systems.
• Familiarity with MLOps, experiment tracking, model versioning, and monitoring.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, engineering mindset.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, and deploy advanced ML/DL models.

• Develop computer vision models for image processing, detection, segmentation, and anomaly ID.
• Work with large-scale time-series data, SCADA, sensors and industrial datasets.
• Build scalable AI inference pipelines and production integration.
• Optimize model performance, speed, and deployment costs.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, robotics engineers, and product teams.
• Establish model evaluation, monitoring, versioning, and improvement practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence tech architecture and decisions.
• Research emerging AI technologies including foundation models and multimodal AI.

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer who is passionate about solving complex engineering challenges, building production-ready AI systems, and contributing to technologies with measurable real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, train, and deploy advanced machine learning and deep learning models.
• Lead the development of AI solutions for renewable energy applications, including predictive maintenance, fault detection, performance optimization, and automated inspection.
• Develop computer vision models for image processing, object detection, segmentation, and anomaly identification.
• Work with large-scale time-series data, SCADA systems, sensor data, and industrial datasets.
• Build scalable, reliable AI inference pipelines and integrate models into production software.
• Optimize model performance, inference speed, computational efficiency, and deployment costs.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, robotics engineers, and product teams.
• Establish best practices for model evaluation, monitoring, versioning, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical architecture and strategic technology decisions.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies, including foundation models, generative AI, and advanced learning architectures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, deep learning, or AI engineering.
• Advanced Python programming skills.
• Strong practical experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Experience developing and deploying computer vision and/or time-series machine learning models.
• Solid understanding of deep learning architectures, model optimization, and statistical learning methods.
• Experience with ML deployment, Docker, REST APIs, and production inference systems.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices, experiment tracking, model versioning, and monitoring.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and an engineering-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with industrial AI, renewable energy, predictive maintenance, or energy forecasting.
• Knowledge of SCADA, IoT, and industrial sensor technologies.
• Experience developing AI models for drone imagery, automated inspection, or defect detection.
• Familiarity with OpenCV, YOLO architectures, and image segmentation frameworks.
• Experience with transformers, LLMs, multimodal AI, or AI agents.
• Knowledge of edge AI, GPU optimization, ONNX, or TensorRT.
• Experience leading technical projects or mentoring engineering teams.
