Job summary

GEA is seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage invoice processing, vendor and employee reconciliations, and month-end accounting activities in Turkey. The role requires strong attention to detail and experience with SAP and Concur to ensure accurate and compliant financial operations.

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Accounting, has 3-4 years in AP within a multinational environment, and demonstrates proficiency in Turkish GAAP. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting or related field.
• Professional level of English.
• Min 3–4 years of experience as AP Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and Turkish GAAP.
• SMMM qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Record expense invoices in SAP accurately and timely.
• Prepare weekly payment plans and monitor processes.
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and balance checks.
• Handle vendor clearing and FX difference calculations.
• Process employee expenses into Concur and ensure records.
• Reconcile employee accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage invoice approval flows with procurement and logistics.
• Record month-end payroll entries.
• Maintain accounting records in compliance with procedures and laws.
