Job summary

GEA Germany GmbH is seeking an Accounting Specialist in Turkey to manage invoice processing, reconciliations, and month-end activities. The role requires SAP and Concur experience and strong collaboration with internal teams to ensure compliant financial operations.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in accounting, professional English, and 3–4 years of AP experience; multinational exposure and SMMM qualification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage invoice processing and month-end accounting activities
• Perform vendor and employee reconciliations and payment planning
• Record expenses in SAP and ensure accurate accounting records
• Handle vendor clearing and FX difference calculations
• Process employee expense forms in Concur and ensure records accuracy
• Oversee daily invoice approvals with procurement and logistics
• Record month-end payroll entries and ensure regulatory compliance

Responsibilities / Tasks

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to manage invoice processing, vendor and employee reconciliations, payment planning, and month-end accounting activities. The role requires strong attention to detail, SAP & Concur experience, and effective collaboration with internal teams to ensure accurate and compliant financial operations. Ensure the accurate and timely recording of expense invoices in SAP Prepare weekly payment plans and monitor the related processes. Perform vendor account reconciliations and ensure accurate balance and current account checks. Perform vendor clearing activities and carry out the necessary foreign exchange difference calculations. Process employee expense forms into Concur system and ensure the accuracy of the related accounting records. Perform employee accounts reconciliations and follow up on any discrepancies. Manage and follow up the review and approval flow of daily incoming invoices with related departments (procurement, logistics, etc.). Record month-end payroll entries in the accounting system. Ensure that all accounting and finance-related records are maintained accurately, completely, on time and in compliance with company procedures and applicable legal and regulatory requirements
