Job summary

Starlite Aviation Group is seeking a Rotor Wing Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with AME and SACAA licenses. The role requires a minimum of 10 years in aircraft maintenance and familiarity with CAMO systems. You will maintain rotorcraft per OEM docs, fault diagnose, order spares, and ensure compliance with SACAA regulations.

Travel abroad for assignments may be required. Prepare for audits and support AD/CSN/SSI modifications while upholding AMM standards and high-quality maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• AME license holders with SACAA license and valid certifications.
• Rotorcraft type rating applicable to AMO scope of approval.
• 10+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance environments.
• Knowledge or experience with CAMO systems is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel abroad for assignments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rotor-wing aircraft in accordance with OEM documentation.
• Carry out fault finding and defect rectification on aircraft.
• Ensure correct spares are ordered and proper tool control is maintained.
• Comply with SACAA or other relevant authorities regulations.
• Maintain a high-quality standard and adhere to maintenance task times.
• Support embodiment of modifications, ASBs, CSNs, SSIs and ADs.
• Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits.
• Conform to Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM).
• Travel overseas as required to support operations.

Starlite Aviation Group has a contract requirement for responsible, knowledgeable, and attentive Rotor Wing Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance of Aircraft:

• Serviceable Aircraft Delivered.
• Ensure all work is carried out according to OEM Documentation.
• Carry out fault finding and defect rectification.
• Ensure the correct spares are ordered.
• Maintain Good Tool control.
• Comply with SACAA or other relevant Authorities Regulations.
• Maintain a high-Quality Standard.
• Adhere to Standard Times for Maintenance Task.
• Experience in defect diagnostics and rectifications.
• Experience in embodiment of modifications, satisfying ASBs, CSNs, SSIs and ADs.
• Prepare and assist with Internal and External Audits.
• Conformance to Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM).

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME License holder)
• Valid SACAA License
• Rotorcraft type rating applicable to AMO Scope of Approval (preferable)
• Twin turbine rated with S76 / S92 Sikorsky (advantageous)
• Knowledge and experience in aircraft maintenance logistical support systems.
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in the aircraft maintenance environment
• Experience of the CAMO system (advantageous)
• Willing to travel abroad
• Experience in contact work abroad (advantageous)
