Job summary

MediaMarkt Turkey is seeking an experienced Security Leader to design and implement store security strategies across our Turkish stores, coordinating risk controls with store operations and regional teams.

You will recruit, train and manage CCTV and store security personnel, oversee partners, enhance in-store security systems, respond to incidents, and prepare security reports while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• University degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years in security management within retail, 10 years total in security.
• Experience with CCTV systems and security supervision.
• Proficient in MS Office and data reporting.
• Strong knowledge of security and risk management.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Analytical thinker with meticulous attention to detail.
• No travel restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Creating and implementing the security strategies of the stores.
• Recruit, train, and manage CCTV and store security teams.
• Coordinate with and supervise security-related business partners.
• Evaluate and improve effectiveness of in-store security systems and procedures.
• Respond to security incidents quickly, effectively and fairly.
• Prepare and analyze security reports.
• Take precautions against theft, fraud and other security threats.
• Prepare and implement emergency plans.
• Active role in internal audit processes and reporting.
• Report periodically to the global team.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
• Experience in Business Continuity Management and Crisis Management.
