Job summary

MediaMarkt Turkey is seeking a financially oriented professional to manage store real estate processes—rent, common area expenses, invoices and reconciliations—and support budgets and performance reporting for all stores.

You will work with Germany-based global teams to provide insights on rent-driven costs and contribute to country reviews, expansion-related projects, and data-driven financial management across the 105-store network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Up to 4 years of experience in accounting, finance, controlling, real estate finance, lease accounting or a similar field.
• Good understanding of financial processes, reporting, reconciliation and cost management.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong ability to work with financial and business data.
• Experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Good knowledge of IFRS 16
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect financial figures with commercial and business performance.
• A genuine interest in the retail business, store operations and commercial dynamics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain financial and commercial topics clearly to different audiences.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, and confidence in working with international stakeholders.
• Strong presentation, reporting and organizational skills.
• A proactive and collaborative working style, with the confidence to build relationships across different teams and levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up on financial processes related to our store real estate portfolio, including rent, common area expenses, invoices, payments and related reconciliations.
• Monitor rent payment schedules, ensuring timely payments, accurate reconciliations and proper follow-up of outstanding items.
• Support the preparation, monitoring and reporting of budgets, actuals and financial performance, ensuring accuracy and providing meaningful insights into variances and key business drivers,
• Prepare and analyze financial and commercial reports related to store performance,
• Contribute to the financial management and analysis of our 105-store portfolio, developing an understanding of key retail metrics such as sales, store traffic and profitability and how they impact the business,
• Work closely with global teams and stakeholders in Germany on real estate, contract and financial processes, ensuring that relevant information, requirements and agreements are accurately reflected and followed up,
• Contribute to country reviews, expansion-related projects and business presentations by providing relevant financial and commercial analysis and insights,
• Collaborate with internal teams, landlords and other external stakeholders to ensure effective coordination, accurate financial information and smooth execution of related processes,
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes and ways of working, supporting a more efficient and data-driven approach to real estate and financial management.
