If you think you are the ideal candidate for our “Financial Reporting Assistant Vice President” position in our Financial, Risk and Regulatory Reporting Unit of Finance Group at Maslak Headquarters, knowing that you will be responsible for BRSA financial reporting, ensuring effective and accurate financial accounting and reporting processes;
If you think you have the following qualifications;
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably from Administrative Sciences, Economics, Engineering)
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in audit, reporting or financial planning in banking sector
- Good understanding of BRSA, familiarity with banking regulations and regulatory reporting requirements is an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and SQL applications
- Experience in audit/consultancy firm and in IFRS reporting is a plus
- Excellent team-player with strong oral/written communication skills, eager to learn and develop, and with an excellent ability to pay attention to details
- Result oriented analytical thinker with multi-tasking abilities and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written English and Turkish skills
responsibilities;
- Preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports for public disclosure in accordance with BRSA regulations (Bank-only and Consolidated basis)
- Coordinate the preparation of the Bank’s Annual Report, working closely with relevant departments to ensure accurate and timely completion.
- Analyze financial data and investigate variances to ensure consistency and reliability of reported figures
- Support monthly and quarterly closing activities related to financial reporting
- Preparation of impact analyses results from change in local and international regulations for the issues under his/her responsibility
- Assist in responding to audit request and regulatory inquiries related to financial reporting.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and management reports as required
- Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly LCR liquidity reports according to local and international rules
- Coordination with the independent auditors at the end of each period to complete the quarterly review/audit process on time
- Fulfillment of BRSA reporting requirements for the issues under his/her responsibility
- Managing system development of regulatory reports and shareholder reports by using Robotics technology or automation tools.
- Correspondence with legal authorities for the issues under his/her responsibility
- Coordination with other departments for the issues under his/her responsibility
- Initiating system changes in accordance to comply with changes in regulations, international reporting standards and shareholder requirements
- Following the standards and regulations promulgated by BRSA and other regulators for the issues under his/her responsibility
