CapsLock is seeking an experienced Marketing Design Team Lead to guide a fast-growing AI-driven design team remotely. You’ll shape visuals that sell, build scalable processes, and collaborate across marketing, media, and production. Leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on design with AI are essential.

You’ll scale a 3-person team to 6, drive production flow, and push for innovative creative directions while maintaining high-quality output across campaigns for North American partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading creative/design teams in digital marketing.
• Strong leader and problem-solver with proactive approach.
• Excellent project management, clear processes, and deadlines.
• Strong visual craft: composition, lighting, color, typography.
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; AI outputs integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale a team of AI-driven Creative Designers from 3 to 6; grow people, not just output.
• Own the production flow: task distribution, capacity planning, and QC.
• Drive creative direction: concepts, hooks, and visuals that stop the scroll and sell.
• Generate new ideas and push for impactful iterations guided by data.
• Own the creative testing loop: build winners DB, analyze failures, iterate based on data.
• Stay on top of AI models; be the go-to expert on creative AI capabilities.
• Run R&D and build prompt/style libraries to keep quality as team grows.
• Unblock the team by hands-on use of tools like Figma and Adobe Suite.
• Collaborate with AI Pipeline Engineer to build pipelines and automation.
• Align with Producers, Marketers, Buyers, and Video Editors on strategy and deadlines.
