Job summary

Oredata is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design data architectures, build ETL pipelines, and ensure data quality and security across cloud environments. You will work with data teams on architecture projects and collaborate to deliver data solutions for international clients.

The role requires strong SQL/NoSQL, data modeling and experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and CI/CD practices. Remote work option available with global project exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Familiarity with databases and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with databases, data warehouses and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Knowledge of data architecture and data modeling techniques.
• Experience in data integration and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of data quality management and data security.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail‑oriented and results‑oriented, eager to learn.
• Familiar with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with stakeholders and review systems to understand data needs.
• Create data architecture models and data dictionaries.
• Design and implement data storage solutions (data warehouses/lakes).
• Design and develop ETL processes to integrate data sources.
• Establish data quality policies and perform data profiling and cleansing.
• Enforce data security policies and access controls.
• Evaluate new data technologies and make recommendations.
• Document data architecture, models, and data flows.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and analysts.
