This is a remote-first, full-time role with direct collaboration with the founder, access to the latest hardware and technologies, and a strong emphasis on ownership and long-term thinking.

Qualifications

• Proven track record architecting and shipping production mobile apps as a senior engineer, lead, or founder.
• Deep iOS expertise with end-to-end ownership of a mature codebase.
• Experience building an Android app from scratch to a high standard.
• Hands-on AI-driven development, agentic coding tools, and automated testing/release.

Responsibilities

• Own and architect the existing iOS app — maintain, optimize, deepen, and future-proof a codebase used by millions.
• Build the Android app from scratch — architecture, delivery, and long-term ownership.
• Ensure cross-platform consistency and a coherent technical vision across both platforms.
• Develop and test features that enhance the Arise experience.
• Use AI agents and automated workflows as the primary means of building, testing, and shipping.
• Anticipate technical pitfalls and proactively design solutions.
• Collaborate with design to refine usability for a smooth user experience.
• Support monetization by integrating features with measurable business impact.
