Job summary

SearchApi seeks a browser engineer to patch Chromium and Firefox at the C++ level, maintain our in‑house patched‑browser cloud, and own the fingerprint surface that keeps our automation indistinguishable from a real user on a real machine.

You will work deep in the engine, fixing navigator, WebGL, and Client Hints at implementation level and keeping per‑OS fingerprint profiles stable across updates. This role is technical, remote, and highly impactful.

Qualifications

• Shipped or contributed to browser-engine patches or stealth tools.
• Experience with fingerprinting and spoofing at the engine level.
• Hands-on with CDP and automation internals.

Responsibilities

• Own the browser stack and in-house patched-browser cloud.
• Patch the engine so spoofed values look native.
• Eliminate signals that reveal automation without breaking control.
• Align geolocation/timezone/locale for consistency.
• Build tooling and test harnesses to validate evasions.
