Job summary

Otokoç Otomotiv is seeking an Accounting & Reporting Specialist for International Subsidiaries. You will join the Central Financial Control Department to connect SAP B1 environments with group reporting on SAP S/4HANA and contribute to consolidation.

The role will involve controlling trial balances, IFRS-compliant financial statements, and coordinating with local accountants. AI-powered process improvements and international scope are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering or related fields from a reputable university
• At least 3 years of experience in general accounting and reporting, preferably in multinational companies or audit firms
• Knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with inflation accounting and consolidation practices
• CPA (SMMM) certification or registration in progress is an asset
• Experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1), which is used across our international subsidiaries, is a strong asset
• SAP S/4HANA experience, preferably as a key user, is an asset
• Willing to use AI tools in day-to-day work and open to evolving ways of working driven by technology
• Advanced level of Excel; fluency in English at a level suitable for daily business use
• No restrictions for international travel
• Valid class B driving license and active driving experience is an asset
• Ability to quickly understand complex processes and develop alternative solutions, with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Performing periodic control of the trial balances of international subsidiaries, identifying and addressing entry and adjustment requirements
• Controlling the financial statements of international subsidiaries prepared in accordance with IFRS
• Checking the consistency and reconciliation of financial and operational statements
• Managing accounting and reporting processes of international subsidiaries operating on SAP Business One (SAP B1), and supporting alignment between local SAP B1 environments and group reporting on SAP S/4HANA
• Following up on local statutory obligations of international subsidiaries and coordinating with local accountants and auditors
• Compiling and presenting specific reports as requested by management
• Benchmarking domestic financial control and finance processes, and using them as an opportunity for development and transformation across international subsidiaries
• Identifying opportunities to apply AI-supported solutions across accounting and reporting processes, and contributing to process improvement and adoption across international subsidiaries through pilot implementations
