Job summary

Novartis in Pendik, Turkey, is seeking a REFS Specialist to provide subject-matter expertise and end-to-end operational ownership across Real Estate & Facility Services. The role translates business and site needs into reliable, compliant, cost-effective service solutions and drives actions through internal stakeholders and external service partners.

You will act as a trusted contact for assigned REFS domains, support a safe, efficient, sustainable workplace, and lead improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• Approximately five years of relevant professional experience, preferably within multinational organisations.
• Strong ability to communicate across organisational levels and with leadership teams.
• Experience managing complex operational environments and delivering high customer satisfaction.
• Working knowledge of REFS domains: Real Estate Management, Design & Construction Management, Facility Services, and HSE.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned REFS processes and service outcomes within delegated authority.
• Define, monitor, and challenge service performance against SLAs, KPIs, quality expectations, and site requirements.
• Investigate recurring service issues, identify root causes, and verify effectiveness.
• Lead improvement initiatives and workstreams from assessment through implementation and handover.
• Maintain governance, documentation, controls, and reporting for assigned services.
• Provide governance of subcontractors and service partners within assigned scope.
• Monitor supplier performance, staffing, training, and adherence to contracts and site requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support procurement and budgeting activities.
• Lead REFS projects, apply structured problem solving, and manage risk and opportunities.
