Job summary

KEMİTEKS, founded in Istanbul, seeks an R&D Senior Specialist for the Pigment Dispersion Laboratory. You will drive formulation development, improve products, and support R&D innovation in pigment dispersion technologies.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in R&D labs, expertise in pigment dispersions, and strong analytical skills, with excellent English and collaboration in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in R&D laboratories.
• Hands-on experience in Pigment Dispersions, Tinting, Digital Inks and Polymer Emulsions.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate new test methods according to international standards.
• Monitor standard revisions and ensure laboratory compliance.
• Evaluate test results and contribute insights for new project directions.
• Research and test new and alternative raw materials.
• Conduct literature reviews and implement findings in ongoing R&D projects.
• Develop and optimize formulations and analytical methods.
• Provide technical support and participate in customer visits.
• Join production-scale trials of new formulations on-site.
• Prepare analytical reports, project documentation, and presentations.

Job Description

The R&D Specialist will take an active role in developing new formulations, improving existing products, and supporting R&D innovation in pigment dispersion technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate new test methods according to international standards

• Develop and optimize formulations (prescriptions) and analytical methods
• Provide technical support and participate in customer visits
• Join production-scale trials of new formulations on-site
• Prepare analytical reports, project documentation, and technical presentations
