Job summary

Vaillant Group Belgium is seeking an experienced R&D engineer for HVAC product development. You will translate customer needs and new tech into projects, drive cost and quality improvements, and support multi-market rollouts.

Collaborate with engineering teams while tracking technology trends and managing changes from approval through to documentation. The role demands PM and stakeholder skills, strong English, and a willingness to work in a hybrid setup within an international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master/PhD preferred.
• Up to 5 years of R&D experience in HVAC; product development and PM experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP and PLM; Creo and Windchill.
• Strong English communication in an international environment.
• Excellent PM, stakeholder management, analytical thinking and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Turn customer needs and new tech into real projects following NPD process.
• Drive cost-reduction and quality-improvement initiatives for products and components.
• Support roll-out projects across markets and ensure timely launches.
• Collaborate with project team and stakeholders; maintain open communication.
• Monitor new technologies and bring ideas to innovation and pre-development.
• Manage engineering changes from approval to documentation.
