Job summary

Wilo Türkiye is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to join our team in Turkey. You will plan and execute incoming, in-process, and final quality control across production lines, read drawings, and use SAP QM to manage quality parameters.

The role requires ISO 9001 knowledge, root-cause analysis methods (FMEA, 8D, 5 Whys), and strong analytical and communication skills; teamwork and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and using measuring equipment.
• Experience with SAP QM and ISO 9001/QMS knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute incoming, production, and final quality control processes according to standards (ISO 1101, ISO 17025, sampling).
• Create and update quality plans, inspection characteristics, and control parameters in SAP QM.
• Perform root cause analyses for non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Track quality KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives across production lines.

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer to join our organization in Turkey.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment.
• Capable of implementing incoming, in-process, and final quality control processes.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and SAP (specifically the QM module).
• Knowledgeable about pump performance test processes.
• Fluent in root cause analysis methodologies such as FMEA (DFMEA/PFMEA), 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa.
• Experienced in ISO 9001 and TSE standards along with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a team player, with advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving competencies, open to learning and self-development.
• Knowledgeable about ISO 1101, ISO 17025, and sampling standards.

Job Responsibilities

Product Quality Control & SAP QM Management

• Planning and operationally executing incoming, production, and final quality control processes according to the ISO 1101, ISO 17025, and sampling standards.
• Creating and updating quality plans, inspection characteristics, and control parameters in the SAP QM module.
• Determining and developing critical quality parameters based on material structure and type.
• Implementing, standardizing, and improving process (daily routine checklist) and final quality control for semi-finished and finished products across all production lines.
• Defining control checklists for each product.

Non-Conformance & Process Management

• Creating complaint reports (NCR) via SAP QM in case of supplier-induced non-conformances, managing supplier follow-ups, and corrective actions.
• Analyzing customer complaints, performing root cause analyses, offering solution proposals, and finalizing the process.
• Taking an active role in process improvement projects.

Quality KPI & PPM Tracking

• Entering production line defects into the system to generate and report PPM (Parts Per Million) values.
• Tracking supplier quality, customer return rates, and scrap/rework data, and keeping quality dashboards updated.

Test Processes (Test Bench)

• Carrying out all testing processes from start to finish in accordance with the EN ISO 9906 Standard and without errors.
• Taking action to solve any issues that happen during testing; developing preventive measures for recurring errors,
• Performing performance tests in accordance with the established calendar and plan.
• Tracking the calibration of test benches, determining needs, and ensuring the detection of defective parts.
• Analyzing flow rate, pressure, power consumption, efficiency, vibration, and temperature data belonging to pumps and systems, and evaluating their conformity with technical criteria and customer requirements.

Integrated Management Systems (IMS)

• Contributing to the development of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 management systems.
• Providing active support in internal audits, external audits (CE, TSE, UL-FM, EAC, etc.), and customer audit processes.
