Job summary

Kidde Global Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our R&D team in Poland. The role focuses on validating security sensors and peripheral devices across wired and wireless portfolios, with relocation support to Gdańsk.

You will design and execute test plans, verify functional correctness and robustness, and collaborate with product management and compliance teams to ensure EN 50131 readiness and real-world reliability of our detection and signaling devices.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electronics or related technical field.
• Experience in Quality Assurance domain.
• Experience in Quality Assurance for hardware, embedded, or electromechanical products.
• Hands-on experience with device-level testing in lab and/or field environments.
• Ability to translate product and system requirements into effective test scenarios.
• Strong attention to physical, behavioral, and usability edge cases.
• Knowledge of QA processes, methods and tools and ability to use them in practice.
• Analytical, data-driven approach to testing and reporting.
• Clear communication and documentation skills.
• Good command of English language (in writing and speech).

Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our R&D organization and validate security sensors and peripheral devices across both wired and wireless portfolios. In this role, you will focus on ensuring functional correctness, robustness, and real-world reliability of detection and signaling devices used in professional security systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate functional behavior of security devices
• Validate device behavior across normal operation, fault conditions, power-up, reset, recovery scenarios
• Verify battery performance and power consumption profiles

• Support compliance readiness for EN 50131 through structured test evidence

Required Profile

Additional Qualifications

• Test automation skills using Python
• ISTQB certificate
• Experience in Attlasian toolchain usage
• Experience with EN 50131 or similar standards
• Experience in intrusion, detection or access domain
